Job Description / Requisites : B.E/B.Tech Mechanical/Civil with experience in client correspondence, preparing claims and variations, negotiation with client, invoice follow ups, submitting contract deliverables, preparing logs etc. Good communication & drafting skills in English.

Job Purpose: 

Responsible for preparing, examining, analysing, negotiating and revising contracts

Primary duties and responsibilities: 

1.Receive, evaluate and act on value engineering and other change proposals

2.Negotiate cost and schedule impact related to change orders and other contract modifications

3.Process disputes under the Disputes Clause

4.Review and approve payments under the Progress Payments Clause

5.Monitor progress and ensure timely notification of anticipated overrun

6.Monitor financial status and advise the project team if contract performance is jeopardized

7.Ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements

8.Evaluate and make recommendations on requests for waivers and deviations

9.Ensure timely submission of required reports

10.Administer special clauses 

11.Receive, inspect and accept or reject partial deliveries and final deliveries of all contract deliverables

12.Assist the project team in contract close out.

-Ability to minimize the costs of projects while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Education Requirement:

Minimum Degree in any engineering discipline

Preferred Degree in any engineering discipline

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 4+ years

Preferred 7+ years

Trainings & Certifications: RICS/CIOB/PMP certification will be an advantage
